My Zhongli build is kind of a hybrid between just being a shielder and being more of a burst support. He's not purely built for damage (Fav Lance), nor is he built HP/HP/HP to be a big shield bot. He's got decent Crit. Rate to proc Fav and his shield works well enough, so I'm pretty happy with him over all. I'd like to get a better Crit. Rate circlet for him since all that EM is kinda wasted tho.
